1,296cc
engine; 1300 TC; a solid and straightforward driving
project
First registered in March 1968, this
Triumph 1300 TC is a charming and increasingly scarce example of a late-1960s
British saloon, offered here with seven former keepers. Powered by the lively
1,296cc engine, the car presents as a usable and honest classic that starts,
drives, and stops as it should, having been driven on site for photography and a
short video.
The car is mechanically sound and
offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiast looking to carry out a light
restoration. The differing body panel colours should not deter prospective
bidders, as a repaint would transform the car into a very respectable and
appealing British classic.
While the vehicle is
accompanied by very little historical documentation, it represents a solid and
straightforward example with plenty of potential for improvement and
enjoyment.
