The bike that taught a generation to ride;
one of Britain’s most beloved small motorcycles; fabulous
condition
A
tidy example of the ever-popular BSA Bantam, this 175cc model
from 1968 presents in restored condition and is finished in black with chrome
detailing. Showing 17,552 miles, it is said to start and run well, offering the
light, friendly manners that made the Bantam such a success.
Supplied with the current V5C
confirming only four former keepers, the bike appears to have been well cared
for over the years. The restoration has been carried out to a good standard,
leaving the machine with a clean, honest appearance while retaining the
simplicity that defines the model.
The Bantam remains one of Britain’s most
beloved small motorcycles, remembered fondly as the machine that taught a
generation to ride. Its straightforward engineering and approachable nature
continue to make it an ideal classic, perfect for learners and light
commuting.
