coming with MOT until March 2026, under the bonnet we find one of the most
glorious engines of all time, BMWs bullet-proof M54 3.0 straight-six, providing
228bhp to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
Finished with some nice optional extras including heated electric
leather seats, pop up screen and sat nav, 18” five spoke split rims, air con and
built in phone system.
In the history file we
find the service book showing eight service stamps the last of which is dated
June 2018 where the odometer read 64,727 miles. We also have a good number of
invoices, most recently in March of this year we can see two new front springs
were fitted along with a new drop link and offside front lower
arm.
We also have invoices for new gearbox and
diff mount bushes in November 2022 when the odometer read 71,600 miles, so less
than 2,000 miles have been covered since. There are also lots of invoices
for servicing and minor remedial work including two new front wishbones in 2017
and a new clutch and dual mass flywheel fitted in May 2022.
Running and driving nicely on site, this Z4 is arguably one of the
best roadsters you can buy in this price range when you take performance, feel,
handling, power and practicality all into account. We even like the Bangle
'flame edge' styling...
