Supplied new by Jack Barclay
of London in May 1996, this Bentley Turbo R MkIV has covered 84,250 miles and
comes with an excellent service history comprising 25 stamps in the book, the
last at 83,408 miles in October 2022 which included new suspension spheres and
rear brake/hand brake pads. That gives an average service interval of under
3,400 miles – pretty obsessive by any standards.
There are also many
invoices for additional maintenance and new parts fitted, including regular
underside cleaning and waxoil treatment.
It has had 8 owners to date,
our vendor acquiring the car in January 2011 from Balmoral of Halesowen who had
serviced the car regularly since 2001. The brother of a famous 1960s/70s F1
driver and Le Mans winner, our vendor has looked after the car meticulously, as
detailed in many invoices on file.
Finished in Peacock Blue with
Royal Blue Wilton carpets and Sandstone leather upholstery, it also has lamb’s
wool over-rugs front and rear; Sony CD/radio with Bluetooth for handsfree
calling and music streaming; 17” Bentley Continental alloys with Avon Turbospeed
tyres; Bentley Arnage front matrix grille and under vents plus Mulliner exhaust
tail pipe finisher.
It has an MOT until October
2025 with no advisories recorded, nor has it had any advisories since 2017 and
very few throughout its life. There are also 20 old MOTs, a full set of
handbooks, a guide to the Sony sound system and another for the Optimate battery
conditioner installed in the boot. Driven 50 miles to the sale, it has been
starting instantly and running almost silently as we have moved it around on
site, with no warning lights.

this pampered Turbo R looks a million dollars and is on offer here at a very
