in the service book, the last in 2023 at 108,036 miles with many
supporting invoices plus the original book pack and spare emergency
key.
Between May and
August last year, our vendor has turned this BMW into an Alpina replica
including a repaint from the original Sterling Silver to Alpina Green with gold
pinstripes and Alpina badges. The V5C now records the colour as green.
On the mechanical side it has received a full cylinder head rebuild
along with the following new parts: camshaft and followers; head gasket; cam
belt; distributor; spark plugs and HT leads; water pump; radiator; turbo kit
with intercooler and oil cooler; turbo boost gauge; oil pressure gauge; front
anti-roll bar; brake pipes; battery; four new alloy wheels and
tyres.
The car is said to run and
drive well with plenty of power and was driven some 90 miles to the sale. All
the electric windows and the sunroof work as they should and it shows good 60psi
oil pressure.
