Dating from 1990 this cutesy and undeniably cool and oh-so retro little van was imported and registered on our shores in July 2001.  Showing just 4 previous owners and 88,108km recorded (54,579 miles) it comes to us in the eye-catching hue of two-tone light and dark green with grey cloth interior.

Under the bonnet, power comes from the proven 4-cylinder 1,480cc Nissan Sunny engine driving through 3-speed automatic transmission. As typical with a JDM model, the spec is high including power steering, air conditioning, Sony CD player, heated rear window, cup holder, fitted umbrella, rubber matting, 12v socket and a flip-up occasional rear seat.  We also love the single-spoke steering wheel, chrome exhaust tip and novelty rear mud flaps. The rubber lined load area gives ample carry capacity, the over all width of the van being 62.8" and 72.4" tall.

Within the history file we find the V5C, fresh, clean MOT running to January 2022, VOSA MOT history and a selection of invoices showing considerable recent spend, including £787 in August 2020 for new rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders along with welding repairs under the wooden floor panels to the NS & OS front floors and OS outer sill ahead of its August MOT. A further £158 was spent at the same time on a new washer pump, 2 head light bulbs and 2 fog lamp bulbs.  Most recently, the car was treated to a replacement rocker cover gasket, repair to a broken vaccum pipe and re-set of the carb in January 2021 costing a further £134 to ensure the little Snail...- S-Cargo - get it? (the 2CV's nickname, of which this takes many styling cues) is fighting fit for its lucky new owner.

Love it as a 'Post-modernist masterpiece' or hate it as 'one of the 50 ugliest cars ever built' its got undeniable retro-cutesy factor and with just 8,000 produced over its short, 2 year production cycle it will always be sure to raise an eyebrow and get you noticed.
